LAHORE: According to Karachi Police, 5 terrorists were killed and other two were arrested in an encounter in the Sachal Area of Karachi on Monday.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Malir Rao Anwar linked the killed terrorists with internationally banned militant outfits, al Qaeda and self-styled Islamic State (IS).
Anwar also claimed to have arrested two terrorists alive during this operation.
“One of the arrested terrorists is an engineer and belongs to a good family,” he said.
The officer said that the Police recovered a remote controlled car along with three suicide jackets and other weapons from the terrorists.
