MIRPUR MATHELO: At least three persons including two women were killed in different road accident in Mirpur Mathelo on Saturday. A truck skidded off the road due to speeding and rammed into a passenger bus from opposite side near Mirpur Mathelo by pass. As a result, a woman identified as Nasreen has been killed on the spot while Basit, Bilal and four other sustained serious injuries. The bus was heading to Sadiqabad from Karachi. Separately, a passenger bus heading to Karachi from Mianwali overturned on National Highway due to speeding. As a result, Rabia and Jameel Ahmed killed on the spot while Muhammad Afzal, Muhammad Sharif, Sarfaraz, Jahanzeb Khush Muhammad, and Kamran sustained serious injuries. The deceased and injured have shifted to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for medico-legal formalities. The police have registered a case against the drivers and started investigation.
